He has been practicing and has gained specialised expertise in a number of related fields:

Archi­tect­ur­al Design:
Fifty-five years of Practical experience in the planning, design and detailing of multi storey office buildings (up to 54 levels) in Melbourne and Perth.  Design of commercial retail developments and incorporation into recycled buildings in Melbourne.  Design, documentation and contract administration of high security prisons in Victoria.
High
Tech­no­logy:
Design and detailing of metal curtain walls, stone cladding and glazing techniques, development of extrusion details, fixings and pressure equalisation principles to reject water and air infiltration on building skins (masonry, metal and glass cladding).  Investigate and design remedies to leaking facade cladding and subterranean structures in Melbourne and Sydney. Research in matters of condensation in buildings.
