Some Notes on the Virus Scanners

• We don't endorse these virus scanners, but simply present them here for your convenience.  Use them at your own risk.  You might need to disable your current virus scanner in order to download online scanner components.
• Click on a scanner title to go directly to the scanner page.  Click on a logo to go to the company's home page.
• The Panda ActiveScan will ask you to complete a free registration process before it will disinfect.
• The PC Pitstop scan uses Panda Software's technology.
• The Symantec Security Check requires Windows^® 98 or later.  It doesn't recognise our Windows^® XP x64 Professional Edition.
• The Kaspersky online scanner and ESET's NOD32 are large downloads (>15MB).
• The Windows Live™ OneCare scanner is also a large download and we found it to be very thorough.  The virus scan took a long time to complete, but detected items that were not detected by the other scanners.
